R60i or HP V3729?

R60i, T2080, 512MB, 80G, Combo, 1yr warranty;

V3729. TK57, 512MB, 120GB, COMBO. 2yr warranty;

R60i. ThinkPad Series, brand loyalty. a bit heavy, may be the best substitution for desktop;

V3729, new model for HP V3000 series, one of the best sales model in 2007, better mobile performance;( 2.45kg), but AMD CPU with NV mainboard.

Above 2 are the same price. actually i chose HP. Really hard to make decision though.

I don`t like AMD`s cpu,it`s too hot&high watt.,
So,I sugest you to chose R60I

Rubbish AMD!

I prefer to choose HP, several yeas ago I use R50 , but not very good, the network card on the board broken. So in my opinion, for IBM, T or X is a good choose, R serial not good enough.

I think neither will i choose among these two. there are other better machines at this price level. if u want to buy thinkpad or HP, i suggest u that the advanced series is the only choice such as T series and DV series
